Crystal and Steve’s story at The Little Hobo is one of passion, generosity, and the simple belief that good food doesn’t need to be complicated. Crystal, the heart behind the kitchen, rotates through more than 300 different homemade soups throughout the year. Regulars will tell you she has a gift for it — whether it’s her beloved Doukhobor Borscht, a warming Mulligatawny, or something unexpected on a Tuesday. The baked goods, the perogies, the sandwiches stacked generously on fresh bread — everything is made with the kind of care that’s increasingly rare.
